OSHA Focuses on Noise at New England Manufacturers

Noise is a concern in nearly any industrial setting. To offer workers protection against hearing damage, workplace noise limits have been established by OSHA and other regulatory agencies.  Even with those controls, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported more than 20,000 cases of work-related hearing loss in 2011 alone.
